Kids have endless energy and curiosity, yet can become easily bored. Feed their minds in the morning, their bellies at lunch, and let them burn off all that energy in the afternoon.
Start your day downtown at the Manitoba Children's Museum. Located at
The Forks, kids will keep busy with all sorts of interactive, imaginative exhibits.
Visit the
Manitoba Museum's many galleries, and continue your adventure by visiting the adjoining Planetarium and Science Gallery. Interactive displays and hands-on exhibits will keep the entire family engaged and entertained.
Stop for lunch at the legendary
Chocolate Shop Restaurant in downtown Winnipeg.
After lunch, head east on the Trans Canada Highway for go-karting fun at
Grand Prix Amusements. Batting cages, mini golf and bumper boats are available to satisfy everyone's tastes.
Wind up the day with some great rides at
Tinkertown Family Fun Park or by zipping down the waterslides at Fun Mountain.
Grab dinner back in Winnipeg. If an overnight stay is needed, visit the Canad Inns or Victoria Inn. Theme rooms (and more waterslides) are sure to be popular. The whole family will sleep well after this action-packed day.
